A new year, a new beginning

I know I know, we said we would write regularly. Tell us off, have a moan, do what you need to let it out of your system, for we have not lived up to your expectations. For which we are sorry. But if you would like a one-sided overview of the last few months, log onto amrit space, where I (wifi) have been penning down the sagas on one side of the moon.

To get you up to speed, I will attempt a quick de-brief. The hubs is still working away at Lidl and on the verge of being promoted to duty manager - the role he originally signed up for. Wifi got back into the legal market and is now flying high as in-house corporate counsel. Having had a scary year, the Bhullars managed to get away to India in December. We went home to visit Toni's parents and attend a couple of weddings. It was fun and relaxing.

2009 crawled by. 2010 is racing - we are already into March having had our usual share of dramas. This soap opera never ends. Our car broke down completely in January. Poor little Golf - we had driven 30,000 miles in 18 months and it had finally given in. Happy to say that the Bhullars have upgraded - we now have air-conditioning and a big boot for our camping adventures. Exciting stuff.

We became a bhua and fufar in February - roles which we love and will take seriously. We passed another wedding anniversary, this time with lots of celebration. Life is good again.

So. Three years on and we're still loving our married life. Laughing a lot and holding hands. It's fun. How do we do it? We have our digs at each other but what couple doesn't? I suppose it's the time we make for each other to show we care. That's what counts the most. Very important.
